Hey, it's Sid here. It’s been a while since I sent anything out to this mailing list. Thanks for sticking around. I really do appreciate it. I've been working on content recently that we are getting ready to schedule on social media platforms. However there were a few topics that felt more personal that I would rather share with the people here than the people out there. 2024 was a hell of a year: we welcomed our new son to the family after a tricky pregnancy, followed by a month's stay in hospital. These are the situations where I'm grateful to be self-employed, but also could have used a steady pay cheque last year… But he's home, thriving, and we had a wonderful Christmas as a family. I also made some bets last year about how the world was going to play out and regretfully they played out as I called them. I’m also making some bets on this year. It was my intention to send out something today on that topic but it's kind of heavy to just throw it out of nowhere. The title of that email would be something along the lines of “as business owners we’re flying into a headwind. So what are we going to do about it? See, you want to be ready for that one, right? With this headwind in mind, I made some changes to how I'll serve business owners into 2025 (cheaper, more accessible advisory to keep your business going and growing). Anyway, I'll send the “headwind” email out next week. For now I hope you’re doing well and this email was a pleasant surprise? If we aren’t connected already please find me on linked in and say hi: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sidsaraiya/ I’d love to hear how you’re getting on. Sid |

The biggest shift I saw in 2024 was a slow down in consumer spending. And if people are spending less at the till, brands aren’t making as much money, agencies aren’t being given enough campaigns and people are getting laid off so even less money is being spent at the...
